Greg’s career as an accountant commenced in 1980 as a trainee with Price Waterhouse in Newcastle where he completed his degree and was admitted as a Chartered Accountant. He left the company in 1990 to begin his own practice in partnership with another accountant. After further experience with a large legal practice, Greg has re-established himself as a practising accountant with David Rundle.
In his career, he has specialised in assisting small to medium-sized businesses. Greg is a fellow of the Taxation Institute in Australia, a registered tax agent and Justice of the Peace.
Greg is also an Authorised Representative of Count Financial Limited.

David has in excess of 15 years extensive experience in accounting and financial planning including several years with an international accounting firm and as financial controller for a public company.
David has considerable experience in financial planning and investment advice having established a large and successful financial planning business. The firm is a long-term Member with Count and is one of Count’s most successful firms. David is a Financial Planning Specialist (FPS) through the Australian Society of CPA He is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) with the Financial Planning Association of Australia. David provides specialist advice in:
- Financial Planning and Investment;
- Superannuation and Retirement planning;
- Income taxation planning & research;
- Business Planning and Accounting.
David is also an Authorised Representative of Count Financial Limited.

John started his accounting career in 1999 after studying at Southern Cross University at Coffs Harbour. Before John put his study into practice, he managed both a successful Hotel in Coffs Harbour and a family farm at Vacy.
This prior experience in small business has enabled John to bring a unique insight into his accounting career. When giving business advice, he can draw on knowledge developed not only from his accounting career, but also knowledge gained in managing successful business in two completely different and competitive fields.
Customer service is also an integral ingredient in John establishing an ever increasing client base, with clients from a diverse range business, including hospitality (clubs, pubs & cafes), farming, telecommunication, construction and the motor vehicle industry, just to name a few.
John also deals with a number of Self Managed Superannuation Funds, offering full administration and compliance service, whilst working closely with our financial planning specialist, David Rundle.
John is also an Authorised Representative of Count Financial Limited and a Justice of the Peace.
